In 2013, Amy decided to embark on an exciting role working as a music fellow with the Ross-Shire based organisation Feis Rois. The fellowship gave Amy a chance to fucus on her own professional development and build on her skills delivering music workshops in community settings.
Since taking up the fellowship in April, Amy has already:
Taken part in a 3 week international cultural exchange programme to Australia where she had the opportunity to perform at the National Celtic Festival in Portarlington, near Melbourne;
Performed in Derry/Londonderry at an event attended by Fiona Hyslop MSP, Minister for Culture. The event was part of the City of Culture celebrations.
Led a National Ceilidh Trail which saw her take on the role of Musical Director for over 30 performances across Scotland in July and August;
Attended a number of inspiring training courses including a 2 - day Introduction to Orff and Mairi Campbell's Love Voice course on the beautiful Island of Lismore.
Led an 8 week programme at a local nursery, where the children experienced a wide range of music, song and dance
